2). Maintenance Planner – Field Service
Location: Lagos
Summary:
- We are looking to engage a competent and experienced Maintenance Planner.
- The primary objective of the Maintenance Planner is to develop, monitor, and track work schedules to support the delivery of corrective and preventive maintenance planned and unplanned to all Daystar Power’s assets in accordance with our asset management strategy and service level agreements.

Key responsibilities:
- Implementation of procedures for scheduling and tracking maintenance activities on all Daystar Powers’ assets at specific client sites
- Collaborates with field service teams to ensure:
- The creation of adequate maintenance schedules for all of Daystar Power’s assets
- Coordinate materials and tools deployment to the site for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
- All maintenance schedule failures are immediately flagged to site managers for rescheduling.
- All Job completion certificates (JCC) for executed maintenance activities are validated and archived.
- All maintenance invoices are promptly processed.
- Support field service team with all materials requests & verification in the warehouse as well as follow up with the logistics team for timely delivery to sites.
- Appropriate penalties are issued for all identified/flagged maintenance failures.
- Perform periodic vendor performance analysis/appraisals and provide recommendations to Group Head, Field Service.
- Participating in the development and implementation of maintenance policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance performed, equipment condition, and maintenance costs.
- Bi-weekly and monthly Maintenance Reports using an agreed template.
- General Inventory Management:
- Identification of critical Spares
- Update on min/max inventory data
- Provide information on spare obsolescence.
- Tracking of field service/operation inventory depletion
- Availability to travel to various sites within Nigeria on a need basis to physically validate the quality of maintenance jobs.
Ensuring best QHSE practices for all maintenance activities
Reporting Relationship
- Functionally & Administratively Reports To: Group Head, Field Service
Working Relationships
- Internal: Field Service, NOC, CAS, Procurement & Warehouse
- External: Third-Party Maintenance Vendors
Requirements
Education: Undergraduate or Post-Graduate Degree in Engineering; preferably Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the planning and execution of maintenance schedules for hybrid power systems (preferably renewable energy)
- Must be self-motivated and demonstrate a sense of ownership with a high level of attention to detail.
- Must demonstrate good communication skills and ability to work well with field teams.
- Must demonstrate excellent organizational skills.
- Must be able to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure.
- Must demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project) in particular.
- Proficiency in primavera for planning and scheduling activities is an added advantage
Language Proficiency: English.

3). Manager, Legal
Location: Lagos

Key responsibilities:
- Directing, coordinating, and supervising groupwide legal matters.
- Monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring external counsel.
- Ensuring timely filing of statutory returns.
- Preparing legal templates required for business processes and engagements; negotiating contracts with counterparties.
- Identifying and forecasting legal risks and advising on legal risk mitigation.
- Acting as company secretary.

Requirements
Education:
- A law degree with excellent grades and qualified to practice law in Nigeria.
Experience:
- 10 years post-qualification and work experience in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
- Strong preference will be given to applicants who have worked in top-tier law firms.
Language Proficiency:
- English (excellent oral & writing skills).
- French (Oral and writing skills) will be an added advantage
Knowledge and skills:
- Proven law firm or in-house experience and background in Nigerian law and regulations particularly power, employment, intellectual property project financing, investment law, company law, and general corporate advisory.
- Proven background in liaising with regulatory authorities in Nigeria.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications in particular, MS Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience in managing and dealing with high-profile counterparts with diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Commercial awareness.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
- High degree of personal maturity with the ability to lead conversations and negotiate with high-profile counterparts.
