1). Piping PDMS Designer

Location: Rivers

  • Execute the activities within own area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements

    Tasks Include

  • A – Development Technology know how and Commercial support
  • B – Fea sibility
  • C – Bidding phase/Commercial proposal development
  • D – Project Execution

Design, execute or check the typical Piping and Layout studies including:

  • 3D modelling
  • 3D model re view with other disciplines and issue of clash check report
  • Construction or design drawings using 2D software or extracted from 3D for piping networks (overall plot plan, equipment layout drawings, piping general arrangement, piping isometrics and piping supports)
  • Bill of materials or material take off
  • Extraction of bill of materials and other information from the 3D CAD model
  • Organize the work of his team and follow-up the planning of the resources mobilisation
  • Co-ordinate the work of his team with the Piping and Layout engineers of the project
  • Check the input data and all the documents and information issued by his team
  • Check permanently that all the assumptions upon which his team work is based keep up with the project development and warn the project Piping and Layout Lead of any detected anomaly
  • Supervise documents updating after comments issued by other disciplines (inter-discipline checks) or external stakeholders (Client, Yards, Third party review, etc.)
  • Feed the Piping and Layout Department improvement system by reverting the lessons learned during the project

2). Senior Electrical Engineer

Location: Rivers

  • The Engineer executes the activities within the area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements.

Tasks include:

Development Technology know how and Commercial support

  • Provide technical support

Feasibility

  • Provide technical support

Bidding phase/Commercial proposal development

  • Analyse and understand Tender documentation
  • Take part in electrical system design review
  • Identify technical queries, deviations an d alternatives to be submitted
  • Implement bidding methodologies, design criteria and guidelines
  • Define and issue request for quotation and relevant Technical Bid Tabulation for items not estimated in house
  • Coordinate material quantities and weights (MTOs) estimation
  • Prepare bill of quantities for erection works cost estimation
  • Support Electrical Lead to define manhours estimation

Project Execution (Job progress and completion)

  • Review Client technical documentation and requirements
  • Take part in definition of electrical engineering requirements
  • Prepare Project design criteria for electrical system
  • Define the configuration of the electrical system and the single line diagram
  • Perform electrical system calculation and studies (e.g. power demand, load flow, short circuit, transient stability, motor starting) to define the equipment rating
  • Prepare relay and metering schemes, protective relays coordination study and setting tables
  • Define the functional philosophies for the electrical system control (power management, synchronization, load shedding, reacceleration and restarting) and control system architecture
  • Prepare technical documentation (e.g. specifications, data sheets) for electrical equipment and materials
  • Check and review technical documentation according to Project and Saipem procedur es
  • Prepare Purchase Requisitions and bids technical evaluation
  • Perform check and review of Vendor technical documentation
  • Provide technical support to Procurement in purchasing and to Post order in expediting and testing
  • Develop electrical system plant design (e.g. cable routings, grounding) and substations arrangements
  • Perform power cables sizing
  • Define typical installation details, bulk materials selection and take off (MTOs)
  • Define bill of quantities and prepare technical documentation for electrical system installation

3). Enterprise Application Support/Developer

Location: Lagos

Job Purpose:

  • To provide on-site day to day support and administration for business processes to ensure Controls, Compliance & Cost recovery and business applications such as SUN Financial Systems, EAM (Contracts & Procurement System), Office 365, Sharefile, Q&A Excel and business functions in Lagos and other remote locations as required.
  • Also, to implement reconfiguration and redesign for the business applications according to user or technical requirements.

Responsibilities and Key Objectives:

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Support design and implementation of applications to enhance business processes.
  • A “hands-on” role providing on-site day-to-day application administration and support for specific business systems; notably SUN Financials, EAM and SharePoint.
  • To liaise with and develop relationships with the business functions to ensure successful design and adoption of business processes.
  • To support deployment of systems and services in an effective and efficient manner ensuring maximum availability to business users.
  • To monitor and report as required on system bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
  • To work closely with other IT software developers and administrators to obtain an awareness of the interoperability of the Oriental applications.
  • Provide input for all changes which require reporting to the change advisory board (CAB) for the appropriate approvals.
  • To develop technical documentation and user guides as required.
  • To support business systems release management adopting strong user communications.
  • To manage the business systems helpdesk function for the Finance systems, EAM, SharePoint, Sharefile and One drive.
  • Provide input and co-ordinate with the business users to identify training requirements a n d develop and hold appropriate training plans.
  • Contribute to guidelines for security and user profiles.
  • Contribute to system architecture/version upgrades.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Education:

The candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, or closely related discipline.

  • Candidate must have a minimum of 4 years working experience in the same area of specialty or closely related field.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in web development and relational databases required.
  • Experience of EAM and SUN Financial Systems implementation,configuration and administration.
  • Experienced in leveraging out of box SharePoint solutions to meet business requirements.
  • In depth knowledge of SUN system and Q&A reporting essential.
  • Experience in Business Process management – Design and implementation.
  • Experience of Procurement Systems administration.
  • Experience of having been involved in Change Management for inter-application changes incorporating clear user communications.
  • Strong communicator skills required to various hierarchical levels in the business.
  • Must have a good understanding of business systems processes.
  • Positive, energetic team player, comfortable working in a fast paced and multi-cultural environment.
  • Demonstration of efficient coordination skills, being able to work on multiple projects in parallel, whilst being able to prioritise ongoing work.
  • Ability to be flexible to adapt to the growing demands of the organization.
  • Must be organized and focused on objectives. Attention to detail paramount and an ability to deliver in tight timescales.
  • Ability to travel to other areas where the company operates.
  • Oil and Gas background highly desirable.

4). Civil Works Draftsman

Location: Rivers

Job Description

  • Perform technical tasks assigned by the Discipline Lead or Project Specialists, related with drafting activities, estimation of civil and steel works, checking of deliverables in order to operate in compliance with project requirements, time schedule and quality standards.
  • Ensure the interfaces with the Designers and Draftsmen both in his department and the other engineering departments.

TASKS

  • The Draftsman executes the activities within his area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements.

Tasks include:

Development Technology know how and Commercial support.

  • Provide technical support.

Feasibility

  • Provide technical support.

Bidding phase/Commercial proposal development

  • Prepare sketches for studies.
  • Prepare material quantities (BOQs) and weights (MTOs) estimation.

Project Execution (Job progress and completion)

  • Set up and execute assigned activities related to production of drawings and assessment of quantities.
  • Prepare sketches for studies and pre-design of civil and structural works.
  • Prepare detailed BOQ for civil works and MTO for steel structure.
  • Ensure proper quality checks of all Discipline project deliverables issued by subcontractors inside or outside the Company.
  • Coordinate drafting activities developed inside and outside the Company.
  • Maintain and update documentation list E-Construction and start up.
  • Provide support field engineering at site in drafting issues.
