1). Assistant Accountant – Inventory Control

Location: Calabar, Cross River

Job Purpose

  • Responsible for coordinating the inventory control systems by posting material inflow of raw material and out-flow finished feeds on AX to ensure accurate capturing of production material usage.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the daily activities of the weighbridge by reconciling AX reports on material movements with the weighbridge reports for accurate bookkeeping.
  • Coordinate and monitor the monthly stock taking exercise by organizing employees to participate in the exercise to enable reconciliation.
  • Prepares monthly stock adjustment for both finished goods and raw materials after reconciling Axapta figures with counted figures.
  • Assist in generating periodic inventory control reports and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Support the finance and warehouse teams in ensuring inventory policies and controls are strictly adhered to.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, statistics or related disciplines.

Experience:

  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience, preferably in the FMCG or feed industry.

The Person Must:

  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX (Axapta) or similar ERP systems is essential.
  • Ability to analyze inventory data, identify variances, and recommend solutions.
  • Strong accuracy in comparing records and preparing reconciliation statements.

2). Procurement Officer

Location: Calabar, Cross River

Job Purpose

  • To ensure the uninterrupted availability of high-quality production materials (both micro and macro ingredients) by efficiently managing the end-to-end procurement process from requisition to vendor engagement, purchase order issuance, and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor the process of Purchase Requisition Notes by following up the approval channels towards timely closure of materials requested.
  • Prepare and submit weekly status reports of Purchase Requisition Notes to ensure bottlenecks are reduced to the barest minimum and escalate delays to line manager for quick resolution.
  • Coordinate the issuance of LPOs to vendors, monitor the timely delivery of material and follow-up the process for prompt payment of invoices.
  • Provide support for direct sourcing contacts and execute buying without middlemen.
  • Assist in the movement of grains in different locations and develop market intelligence information with information trend for management.

Qualifications

  •  B.Sc. or HND in social sciences/management disciplines.

Experience:

  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience, preferably in the FMCG or feed industry.

The Person Must:

  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Have strong negotiation skills and the ability to maintain positive vendor relationships.
  • Be highly organized with strong time management and multitasking skills.
  • Be knowledgeable in inventory control and supply chain processes.

3). Store Clerk

Location: Apapa, Lagos

Job Purpose

  • To carry out all operational activities required to keep the store running under the supervision of the store supervisor/officer to ensure that all items in the store are always available in prime condition and detailed.
  • Accurate records are kept of all items in stock.

Responsibilities

  • Received all stock into the store, tag all the new items and ensure these items are stored correctly in the part of the store designated for them.
  • Issue out all stock items to the requesting department for a smooth running of the factory.
  • Keep detailed and accurate record of all the stock that goes through the store for record purposes.
  • Request for more stock when the number of items available in stock is lower than the recommended minimum stock level ( Monitor and manage stock re-order levels).
  • Ensure that environment in and around the store is kept very clean at all times to avoid environmental hazards.
  • Ensure compliance with QMS /FSMS requirements in the assigned work process.

Qualifications

  •  5 O’ level Credits including English & Mathematics in not more than two sittings.
  • Technical qualification would be an added advantage.

The Person Must:

  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Be proactive in monitoring stock levels and initiating re-order requests.
  • Be physically fit and able to lift or move stock items as required.
  • Possess basic numeracy skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
