Job Title: Female Accountant
Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Female Accountant who resides around Lekki, ajah, ikoyi axis.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, balance sheets, income statements, and other financial documents.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to ensure accurate representation of the company’s financial position.
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts while ensuring that all transactions are recorded properly.
- Perform reconciliations of accounts, including bank statements, to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare payroll and ensure timely disbursement of salaries, allowances, and other benefits.
- Monitor expenses, budgets, and financial transactions to control costs and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Assist in preparing tax returns, liaising with tax authorities, and ensuring compliance with local tax laws.
- Support external audits by providing necessary financial information and responding to auditor queries.
- Work closely with management to develop financial strategies and budget plans.
- Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of financial data.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) are an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or financial environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Tally) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Must reside on Lagos Island or nearby for ease of commute.
Salary
N130,000 – N150,000 / month.
