We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Accountant
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyze, and maintain financial records specific to manufacturing, including cost accounting and inventory management.
- Manage the general ledger, including reconciling accounts and managing monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable for raw materials, equipment, and vendor payments.
- Monitor and report on production costs, variances, and budgeting for manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with operations and production teams to ensure accurate inventory valuation and cost allocation.
- Assist with financial audits, ensuring accuracy in records related to production and inventory.
- Generate regular financial reports for management to support decision-making and monitor profitability.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and regulatory standards, particularly those relevant to manufacturing.
Qualifications
- BSc or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is a plus.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with a background in manufacturing or industrial settings, is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with production teams and manage deadlines.
Salary
N150,000 monthly.
