Job Title: Accountant/Front Desk Officer
Location: Abakaliki, Ebonyi
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Job Summary
- The Accountant / Front Desk Officer at Davin Realty provides vital support to ensure that daily administrative and office operations run smoothly.
- You will be responsible for helping maintain an organized and welcoming office environment that reflects Davin’s brand of “Royalty in Service.”
- You are the “glue” that keeps the team supported, the office in shape, and visitors warmly received.
Key Responsibilities
- Open the office daily by 8:30 am.
- Greet clients, visitors, and answer calls warmly in line with Davin Realty’s Core Values.
- Maintain an appointment calendar.
- Record all visitor logs.
- Answer and route phone calls and inquiries.
- Maintain office visitor records and appointments.
- Support administrative tasks and team communications.
- Document leads generated and follow up via messages, calls, and emails
- Record and track daily income and expenses, and all other financial activities
- Prepare and track payroll, tax filings, vendor payments, commissions, and incentives
- Issue receipts for every payment received
- Present the weekly, monthly, and annual financial report to the CEO/COO and leadership
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports.
- Manage budgets for projects and departments.
- Any other relevant task assigned by leadership.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
- B.Sc./HND in Accounting or Finance.
- ICAN/ACCA certification is an added advantage.
- Understand how to use financial and accounting tools. Eg(QuickBooks,
- Microsoft packages like Excel, etc, Google Packages like sheets, etc,
- 2+ years of experience in real estate accounting or general accounting.
- Professional appearance and friendly attitude.
Skills:
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Empathy- Ability to see things from different perspectives
- Friendly and great customer service skills
- Ability to handle complaints and difficult customers
- Managing schedules and appointments
- Keep the reception area tidy
- Ability to work with accounting software
- Maintaining confidentiality.
