Job Title: Accounts and Administrative Manager

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • The Accountant and Admin Personnel will oversee the accounting and administrative functions of the organizations.

Responsibilities
Accounting Responsibilities:

  • Recording financial transactions and daily bookkeeping.
  • Recording transaction payments and following up on overdue payments.
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities by gathering and analyzing financial data.
  • Preparing financial summaries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules as required by management.
  • Preparing and submitting VAT, WHT, PAYE and other tax filings as required by Nigerian tax authorities.
  • Staying updated with tax regulations and ensuring compliance with statutory obligations.
  • Managing petty cash records.
  • Crosschecking original documents and ensuring all payments are matched up correctly.

Admin Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating office activities including schedules, supplies, access, and equipment management.
  • Managing multiple teams simultaneously and following up on staff deliverables.
  • Acting as contact point for clients, visitors, and staff and pre-empting/escalating issues promptly
  • Managing logistic arrangements for staff: travel, meetings, conferences, etc. as required.
  • Managing assigned projects and provide regular status reports.
  • Planning, facilitating and recording business operational meetings.
  • Ensuring ongoing regulatory and policy compliance and validity.
  • Overseeing Facility Management efforts.

Key Requirements

  • BSc or equivalent in Accounting.
  • Previous Accounting and Administrative experience combined (5 years minimum).
  • Must reside around Lekki or its environs.

Experience:

  • Accounting and Admin: 5 years (Required)

Pay
N200,000.00 per month.
