Job Title: Accounts and Operations Officer

Job Description
- Responsible for overseeing all the financial/accounting operations of the company.
- Regularly provide accurate information on the financial position, liquidity, and cash flow of the business, while ensuring that all laws and regulations are followed precisely.
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records and ensure the company’s accounts are up-to-date and in compliance with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate and coordinate the preparation of year-end closing accounting and financial statements.
- Ensure that the company’s fixed assets and inventory records are updated regularly.
- Conduct an analytical review of the business’ monthly operating results.
- Ensure proper documentation of all financial information and documents by maintaining an orderly and easy retrieval & filing system.
- Ensure timely bank payments & disbursement of all transactions; while ensuring proper verification, allocation, posting, and reconciling of entries per transaction.
- Carry out all statutory and tax computations for filing with appropriate government authorities. Stay
- updated on changes in tax laws and ensure compliance.
- Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity as well as carry out periodic audits on all the company’s financial transactions and documents.
- Coordinate and provide all necessary documentation for external audits; work closely with auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
- Responsible for preparing annual budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure efficient and well-documented financial policies and procedures to guide procurement, approval limits, and other financial transaction activities.
- Liaise regularly with all major owners of cost centres such as Admin and IT to ensure efficiency of operations and cost efficiency.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess Bachelor’s Degrees with 2 – 4 years relevant work experience.
