New Education Consult is a consulting firm for various schools in Lagos state. We are professions that seek to recruit high flyers in the labour market for our clients. Our clients range from Primary to Secondary School with both day and boarding faciliities with international standards. Curriculum are Nigerian, British and American taught at various levels. We ensure that employed candidates are treated as guided as the Nigerian Labour Law and international best practices.

Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Responsibilities

Administrative Support:

  • Manage and maintain calendars, schedule meetings, events, and appointments.
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings and events, including preparing agendas, materials, and follow-ups.
  • Handle assigned correspondence,ensuring timely and professional communication.
  • Maintain organized records of reports, communication materials, and programme documentation.

Corporate Communications Assistance:

  • Draft and edit newsletters, press releases, magazines, and announcements.
  • Coordinate the collection of media (photos/videos) and content from school events for social media and publicity purposes.
  • Support the creation of marketing and publicity materials by liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in updating website content and managing social media posts to maintain a vibrant online presence.

Enrichment Programme Coordination:

  • Assist in organizing enrichment programmes, including competitions, clubs, and LBTC (and Guest Educator events).
  • Liaise with club leaders, facilitators, and relevant units to ensure timely resource allocation.
  • Support data collection and analysis for evaluating student engagement and programme effectiveness.
  • Ensure proper documentation of enrichment programme outcomes and provide support in preparing reports.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Serve as the reliable point of contact for internal and external stakeholders seeking information or assistance.
  • Facilitate communication with parents, alumni, corporate partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain a database of contacts and stakeholders, ensuring up-to-date and accurate records.

Strategic Advancement Support:

  • Assist with coordinating partnerships and alliances with educational bodies, organizations, and alumni.
  • Support the planning and executing events, workshops, and initiatives related to strategic advancement.
  • Provide administrative support for sponsorships, mentorship programmes, and alumni relations activities.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 1 – 3 years work experience.
