Position Overview:

• We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Administrator & Cybersecurity Associate Intern to join our team. In this dual role, you will gain hands-on experience in IT management while supporting our cybersecurity initiatives. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about technology, eager to learn, and interested in safeguarding our digital assets.

Responsibilities:

IT Administration:

• Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems and networks.
• Support troubleshooting and resolve hardware and software issues for staff.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across systems.
• Monitor system performance and implement necessary updates and patches.
• Maintain documentation of IT processes, configurations, and user manuals.

Cybersecurity:

• Assist in monitoring security incidents and analyzing potential threats.
• Support the implementation of security measures and protocols to protect sensitive data.
• Participate in vulnerability assessments and risk analysis.
• Help maintain compliance with security policies and regulations.
• Contribute to employee training on cybersecurity awareness and best practices.

Qualifications

• :Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
• .Basic understanding of IT administration concepts, including networking and system management
• .Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, tools, and frameworks is a plus
• .Knowledge of programming languages or scripting (Python, Bash, etc.) is an advantage
• .Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• .Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• .Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
