Job Title: Business Development Executive

Location: Trans Amadi – Port Harcourt, Rivers

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Scope

  • The Business Development Executive at PMSEC International plays a crucial role in expanding the company’s client base and fostering partnerships within the construction, oil & gas, and marine sectors.
  • This role involves identifying new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and developing strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction, oil & gas, and marine sectors.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to understand industry trends, client needs, and the competitive landscape in the construction and related industries.
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve revenue targets and strengthen the company’s market presence.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions that align with PMSEC’s capabilities.
  • Collaborate with technical and project teams to create compelling proposals, pricing strategies, and service offerings.
  • Lead client negotiations, including contracts, pricing, and service agreements, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Coordinate internally to ensure the successful and timely delivery of projects and services.
  • Prepare and present proposals, reports, and presentations that effectively communicate PMSEC’s value proposition.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, market developments, and emerging trends within construction, oil & gas, and marine sectors to identify new opportunities and potential risks.
  • Represent PMSEC at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the company’s services, generate leads, and expand its network.

Required Experience / Qualifications

  • 2 – 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the construction sector, with exposure to the oil & gas and marine industries preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Desired Skills:

  • Demonstrated success in business development or sales within the construction sector, with experience in oil & gas and marine industries as a plus.
  • Strong industry knowledge, particularly within the construction sector.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to identify opportunities and develop effective business strategies.
  • Results-driven with a focus on meeting targets and driving company growth.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.

Salary & Benefits

  • N200,000 monthly, and above (based on experience).
