Job Title: Business Development Manager – Consulting

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team.
  • This role is essential for driving growth and expanding our client base.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen, a proven track record in business development, and the ability to forge and maintain strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development: Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve company growth objectives and enhance market presence.
  • Client Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including lead generation, proposal development, and negotiation with potential clients.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, industry partners, and internal teams.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and client needs, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Proposal Management: Oversee the preparation and submission of proposals and presentations, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company capabilities.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on business development metrics, including sales targets, pipeline status, and conversion rates.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with consulting teams to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
  • Brand Promotion: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and generate new leads.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within a consulting or professional services firm.

Skills:

  • Proven ability to develop and implement successful business development strategies.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary
N400,000 – N600,000 monthly.
