Job Summary
- We are looking for an ambitious and energetic marketing/business Development officer to expand our clientele and drive sustainable financial growth
- The Marketing/Business Development officer will develop and execute strategies to increase company sales and profits, identify profitable business opportunities and secure sound business deals.
- Build relationships with potential partners and clients, and help develop strategies for expansion in the financial sector.
Responsibilities
- Analyze current and past financial data and provide strategies to increase revenue.
- Research the market to identify new business opportunities, formulate market analysis and deliver accurate business reports.
- Create positive, long-lasting relationships with current and potential clients.
- Develop business development, marketing plans and growth strategy in collaboration with Management to achieve set revenue goals.
- Build referral and lead generation network, arrange business meetings with prospective clients to increase income generation.
- Developing business proposals and presentations to draw in more revenue from clients. Upselling and cross-selling the Company’s products to clients.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support, keep records of sales, revenue and invoices. Curate monthly – quarterly reports.
- Define and follow-up on monthly and yearly targets/objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management / Sales or other relevant field
- Minimum 3 years of Business Development/ Sales experience
- Strong client relationship management skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Have a desire to make a significant contribution to a rapidly growing organization
- Market research, strategy and business reporting
- Proven ability to work independently
- A pro-active self-starter who can operate both individually and as part of a team
- Superior presentation and excellent oral and written communication skills.
