Job Description
- We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele. The candidate would have proven working experience as a business development manager, regional sales executive, or a relevant role.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Review and monitor strategies of the company as it regards sales, advertising, marketing, and other related fields of business
- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to communication and sales guidelines.
- Serve as the company’s representation in trade associations and other promotional events
- Create opportunities for new products/services by networking
- Research and identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, customer needs, partnerships, products, and services – or new ways of reaching existing markets.
- Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
- Evaluate the company’s competition and its competitors
- Engage in research as regards how the company can improve its offers
Requirements and Skills
You’ll need to have:
- Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets
- Selling, Communication, and Negotiation skills
- Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients
- Written and verbal communication skills – needed for communicating with a range of people, both internally and externally, as well as presentation skills
- IT skills, including the use of spreadsheets
- Team working skills and a collaborative approach to work
- Strategic Thinking and Decision-making skills
- Ability to analyze sales figures and write reports
- BSc/BA in business administration, sales, or relevant field with a minimum of three years experience.
