Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons in line with the approved curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments.
• Foster a positive learning environment to support student success.
• Evaluate and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support.
• Organize practical laboratory sessions and ensure safety compliance.
• Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and continuous professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Science Education, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of proven teaching experience in Chemistry at the secondary school level.
• Strong knowledge of Chemistry concepts and practical applications.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Proficiency in using ICT tools for teaching is an advantage.

Salary

• N60,000 – N70,000 / month
