Job Overview

  • We are looking for a competent College Secretary to support our administrative team at our newly established nursing school.
  • The College Secretary will be responsible for managing office operations, scheduling appointments, and providing administrative support to ensure efficient functioning of the college.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and organize office operations and procedures, including filing systems and office supplies.
  • Schedule meetings and appointments, and coordinate communication between departments.
  • Assist in preparing and distributing correspondence, memos, and reports.
  • Maintain accurate records and handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Organize and maintain the administrative office, ensuring efficient operation and coordination of office activities.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and inventory, ensuring timely procurement and maintenance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications, including phone calls, emails, and correspondence.
  • Relay important messages and information to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years’ experience as a secretary or administrative assistant.
  • Proficient in office software (e.g., MS Office) and strong typing skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
