Job Title: Corporate Sales and Partnership Officer
Locations: Lagos
Reporting to: Head, Corporate Sales and Partnership
About the Job
- The Corporate Sales and Partnership Officer will be responsible for maximizing corporate sales and partnership volume.
- Manage and drive relationships with corporate clients (existing and potential) in your city/region to achieve growth and revenue objectives.
- Identify and develop new markets in the region to meet business targets.
Responsibilities
Establish Sales Channels:
- Build a portfolio of partners/affiliates/agencies to drive account acquisition and revenue generation.
- Manage and drive relationships with corporate clients to enable growth.
- Identify new markets in the region to achieve business targets.
Operational Efficiencies:
- Build, track, and manage a sales pipeline.
- Achieve overall sales in the region, including partners, commercial buildings, malls, and corporates.
- Maintain performance via input KPIs daily.
- Assist in implementing promotions and BTL activities for customer acquisition.
Customer Focus:
- Understand customer needs and help build the right product.
- Develop long-term relationships with key decision-makers to maximize life-cycle value.
- Build a pipeline for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts.
Partnership Development:
- Identify, initiate, and nurture strategic partnerships with industry leaders, associations, and key stakeholders.
Client Acquisition:
- Lead the development and execution of business development strategies to acquire new clients.
Market Analysis:
- Conduct market analysis to identify business opportunities and stay ahead of trends.
- Use legal insights to navigate regulatory challenges and anticipate market developments.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry players.
- Provide insights and solutions that align with clients’ business goals.
Proposal Development:
- Collaborate with teams to develop compelling proposals and presentations.
- Ensure proposals meet legal and compliance standards.
Negotiation and Contract Management:
- Lead negotiations with partners and clients for mutually beneficial agreements.
- Oversee contract management, collaborating with legal teams for execution.
Desired Experience and Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Marketing, Sales, Economics, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate sales and partnerships in Nigeria.
- Experienced in direct sales and channel management.
- Strong client relationship management and networking skills.
- Consultative selling approach with experience in HMO, Insurance, fitness, or hospitality services.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Proven track record of revenue growth and ownership.
- Ability to measure and analyze KPIs (ROI and performance metrics).
- Experience building end-customer solutions with the help of presales and technical teams.
