Job Description:

• We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 3 years of practical experience in the field of cybersecurity and demonstrate a strong grasp of information technology, current threats, vulnerabilities, and risk management techniques.

Skill Requirements:

• Proficiency in Networking and System Administration, encompassing tasks such as firewall installation and configuration, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), remote access management, and monitoring for security policy violations and malicious network traffic.
• Knowledge of Operating Systems and Virtual Machines, including familiarity with Kali Linux, ethical hacking, penetration testing methodologies, and relevant tools for activities such as Penetration Testing, Malware Analysis, Security Research, and Computer Forensics.
• Programming skills, particularly in languages like Python, SQL, JavaScript, PHP, and others relevant to cybersecurity tasks.
• Expertise in Cloud Security, with experience in platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure.
• Familiarity with Blockchain Security, the Internet of Things (IoT), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the context of cybersecurity.
• Proficiency in additional areas like Risk Analysis, Information Security, Security Incident Handling & Response, Security Auditing, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. A strong understanding of ISO 27001, 27002, 22301, and other relevant standards is essential.

Qualifications and Other Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc., BS) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity analysis and incident response.
• Competency in security assessment tools, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing.
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security architecture.
• Practical experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Preferred certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team.
