Job Title: Database Administrator

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Experience: 3years and above

Responsibilities:

  • Develop plans to install, maintain, enhance, test, and migrate DBMS products and supporting software.
  • Perform all of the duties and responsibilities of a Data Base Administrator 2.
  • Provide advanced level database management support and assistance.
  • Collaborates and consults with users, system administrators, and systems programmers to overcome significant operational and/or technical issues and problems.
  • Approves and authorizes the access to resources and data.
  • Analyzes, develops and implements disaster recovery plans.
  • Installing and maintaining the Oracle database software
  • Creating storage database structures with high-level security features.
  • Altering storage structures to meet the evolving needs of the company.
  • Setting up database user accounts
  • Creating autonomous database backups.
  • Regularly updating the database security protocols
  • Performs other related tasks as required
