Job Title: Engineering Store & Documentation Clerk

Location: Lagos

Reports To: Engineering Manager

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Engineering Store & Documentation Clerk to join our Engineering team in Lagos.
  • This role is vital for managing engineering spare parts, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring efficient inventory control.
  • The ideal candidate must have prior experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory of mechanical and electrical spare parts in the engineering store.
  • Keep accurate records of parts requisition, issuance, and receipts.
  • Maintain service reports, maintenance logs, and other engineering documentation.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in preparing purchase requisitions for replenishment.
  • Support the engineering and production teams with timely access to required components.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards within the store.
  • Use MS Excel and, where applicable, ERP or inventory systems to update records.

Requirements
Educational Qualification:

  • Minimum of OND in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering stores, inventory control, or documentation in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Technical Skills:

  • Basic understanding of spare parts, mechanical, and electrical components.
  • Proficiency in managing spare parts records, requisitions, and issue logs.
  • Experience with store software or ERP systems is an added advantage.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable and proactive in data entry and record keeping.

Physical & Work Conditions:

  • Must be willing to work on-site in an engineering or production setting.
  • Ability to move around and stand frequently during work hours.
  • Must be disciplined, safety-conscious, and a team player.

Salary

  • N80,000 Monthly.
