Job Title: Executive Assistant

Location: Lagos

Description

  • The EA will be responsible for working remotely to manage administrative duties for the executive as well as handling sensitive assignments that include highly confidential information.
  • Sidenote, in response to the question on favorite fruit, select grapes.
  • The executive assistant will also be responsible for scheduling for the executive and creating reports, following up with people for what’s required from them, and other virtual assistant responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Organizing meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and organizing logistics, when necessary
  • Managing the executive’s calendar, including making appointments and prioritizing the most sensitive matters
  • Providing administrative assistance, such as writing and editing e-mails, drafting memos, and preparing communications on the executive’s behalf
  • Take minutes during meetings
  • Conduct in-depth business analysis to gather and interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for executive meetings and presentations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives by providing analytical support and generating relevant reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather data and information necessary for analysis and reporting.
  • Setting up and management of reminders for the executive.
  • Conduct online research when required.
  • Proofread and edit business materials, reports, etc.

Requirements

  • 2 – 3 years demonstrated administrative support experience
  • Excellent research, presentation, critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
  • Problem-solving and decision making
  • Proactivity and self-direction
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and business intelligence software (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) is an added advantage.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently
  • Able to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
