GIGM, originally known as God is Good Motors, was founded in 1998 by Edwin and Stella Ajaere to provide bus transportation across Nigerian cities. After the founder’s death in 2009, his son, Chidi Ajaere, took over and spearheaded a transformation, rebranding the company to GIG Mobility and integrating technology into its operations.This led to the development of the GIGM.com platform and mobile app for bus ticket bookings and other services.GIGM has also expanded its services beyond Nigeria, launching in Ghana in 2019.

Job Title: Experience Officer, Umuahia Terminal

Location: Umuahia, Abia

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Sell bus tickets at GIGM terminals to walk-in guest
• Make and/or change travel reservations for walk-in guests using the online booking system
• Create and maintain guest reservation records
• Resolve service problem sby clarifying the guest complaint via phone, email, and in person
• Forward booking / travelling reschedule request to the concerned unit
• Serve guests by providing service information related to travelling schedule, fare, & payment
• Announce arrival and departure information using the public address system
• Assist in guest luggage check-in
• Ensure customer complaints & emergency concerns are escalated to the appropriate quarters
• Adhere to the company’s policy on guaranteed reservations and no-shows.
• Promote goodwill by being courteous, friendly & helpful to guests, managers & fellow employees.
• Promote the online booking, app downloads and other products and services ofthe company to customers

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 1 – 3 years work experience.
