Job Title: Facility Maintenance Officer
Location: Warri, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
- This role is responsible for supporting the facility Lead in maintaining the building facilities and equipment whilst providing a top-quality user service experience and also ensures that the facility is operating effectively and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform essential technical tasks related to facility maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, and general repair work.
- Assist with various facility management activities across multiple locations as needed.
- Organize and maintain accurate records of all facility maintenance activities.
- Ensure that facilities are well-maintained and that repairs are executed promptly and efficiently.
- Oversee the repair and maintenance of equipment, systems, and structures within the facility.
- Manage the facility’s space, including allocating areas for different functions, coordinating moves and changes, and assisting with the design and layout of the facility.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify hazards and implement measures to mitigate risks.
- Manage the facility’s environmental impact and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of an OND in a relevant field
- Possess 2 – 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Technical knowledge of facility management systems.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Physical fitness and willingness to work flexible hours.
