Job Title: Facility Manager/Front Desk Assistant
Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
Facility Management:
- Monitor and maintain facility operations to ensure smooth functionality.
- Record diesel consumption, electricity meter readings, and other maintenance data.
- Schedule and coordinate minor repairs and liaise with service providers for facility-related issues.
- Conduct regular inspections of the workspace to ensure cleanliness, safety, and equipment functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and supplies.
Front Desk Assistance:
- Greet and assist clients and visitors professionally.
- Manage phone calls, emails, and inquiries.
- Assist with workspace bookings and hotdesk operations when required.
- Keep the front desk area organized and welcoming.
Administrative Support:
- Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel for data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
- Provide administrative support to the team and management as needed.
Hotdesk Substitution:
- Step in to manage hotdesk services on alternative days when required.
- Ensure seamless operations during extended working hours (9:00 AM – 9:00 PM).
Requirements
- Education: OND or B.Sc in any relevant field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of basic maintenance and facility management.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and adapt to changing responsibilities.
- Prior experience in facility management or front desk roles is an advantage.
Additional Information:
- Male candidates preferred.
- Proximity to Surulere is highly desirable.
- The ideal candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, and have a strong commitment to ensuring a seamless workspace experience.
- Applicants must live within Surulere.
Working Hours:
- 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday to Saturday (may alternate).
- Must be available to substitute for hotdesk staff from 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM on alternative days, when necessary.
Salary
- N80,000 monthly.
