Job Title: Finance & Administrative Manager
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
- The job holder will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, managing administrative functions, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth.
- He / she will develop strategies based on financial research and guide management in making sound business decisions in the long and short term.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage financial reports, budgets, and fo
- Develop and manage budgets for projects, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Conduct financial forecasting and variance analysis to track company performance.
- Monitor project costs and ensure expenditures remain within budget.
- Analyze and control overhead costs, labor expenses, and material costs.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.
- Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with accounting standards.
- Oversee administrative staff and operations.
- Manage office facilities, supplies and equipment
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, labor laws, and other financial policies.
- Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies as needed.
- Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and minimize risks.
- Work closely with project managers to review the financial aspects of projects.
- Monitor and approve project budgets, invoices, and payments.
- Evaluate the financial feasibility and profitability of projects before execution
- Supervise and mentor the finance team, ensuring high levels of performance.
- Support the HR & Admin team in payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Ensure timely payments to vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers, including invoices/payments
Educational Requirements & Skills
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- ACA/ ACCA will be advantageous.
- Minimum of 6 years relevant experience in financial accounting
- Proven experience in financial management and administration,
- Strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of Operational planning, Implementation, and Control
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strong communication skills
