Citygate Global is a registered member of the Association of Non-Bank Microfinance Institutions of Nigeria (AMFIN) and a Money Lending Company in all of the states in which we operate.

Title: Finance Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Summary:

• This position reports to the Chief Finance Officer and provides support to the Finance and Accounting Teams.

Job Description:

• Reconciliation of payments, invoices from vendors, and daily/weekly transactions.
• Scheduling payment of taxes, such as PAYE and VAT.
• Handling weekly and monthly impress.
• Managing financial records and receipts to ensure they are up to date.
• Performing financial analysis, reporting, and management tasks.
• Conducting bank statement reconciliation.
• Identifying invoicing-related issues and accounting discrepancies.
• Completing any other tasks assigned by the CFO and Team Lead.

Qualification & Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting or a related field.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience.
• Possession of professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
• Demonstrated initiative, diplomacy, and tact.
• Excellent knowledge of computer software, especially MS Office (PowerPoint and Excel).
• Familiarity with the bank-one application is a plus.
