Job Title: Financial Analyst/Accountant

Location: VI/Lekki, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Financial Analyst/ Accountant will be responsible for analysing financial data, preparing financial reports, forecasting future performance and managing accounting tasks to support decision-making in Beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Record and reconcile all financial transactions, including membership fees, retail sales and expenses in Beyond.
  • Manage account receivable and account payable processes.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities, including journal entries, bank reconciliations and preparing financial statements for Beyond.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Prepare and submit Beyond accurate tax fillings and documentation.
  • Collect and interpret financial and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement in Beyond.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to management for decision making.
  • Assist in creating Beyond annual budgets and monthly forecast.
  • Evaluate Beyond revenue streams, including memberships, classes, personal training and retail sales.
  • Analyse Beyond cost structures including equipment maintenance, payroll and marketing expenses.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and KPI for business performance tracking.
  • Handle daily debt recovery from customers who purchased items from the front house. budget review, revenue and cost monitoring
  • Sorting out invoices and receipts on daily basis.
  • Inventory management.

Qualifications / Experiences

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience finance role
  • Financial analysis knowledge is a MUST
  • knowledge of power BI and other enterprise software is an added advantage.
  • Ability to multi task effectively and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of health and fitness trends.
