We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Financial Controller

Summary

  • We require a transformative accountant to join our team to improve our cost reduction, revenue assurance, general controls, financial reporting and overall profit improvement drive.
  • The ideal candidate should be able to review financial processes, work with the CEO to identify, document and implement improvement, incorporating better use of technology, and better staffing and organization structures.

Key transformation areas include but not limited to:

  • Improving robust arrangements for always ensuring up to date identification of most direct competitive sources for purchasing main goods and services; and ensuring competitive bidding for all key purchases
  • Production controls and accounting
  • Revenue assurance
  • Instituting good controls in other cost areas such as fuel and energy costs, transportation costs etc
  • Efficient and effective inventory and inventory levels management
  • Fixed assets management/ control
  • Staffing efficiency
  • Review of monthly financial reports to identify issues and improvement opportunities

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2:1, First Degree or minimum of upper credit HND from renowned tertiary institution is desirable.
  • Three (3) years of experience in overseeing the finances of a similar company that has fully integrated computerized accounting system; multiple business locations; multiple inventory locations and multiple production accounting locations.
  • We prefer someone with experience working at a senior-level capacity within the audit team (specialized with consumer markets: manufacturing, distribution and retail clients) at a major audit firm like EY, Deloitte, BDO, PKF, Grant Thornton, Crowe Darionne, SIAO.

Remuneration
Very attractive and includes our profit-sharing scheme.
