1). Learning & Development Manager

Location: Apapa, Lagos

Purpose of the Job

  • To ensure the provision of highly skilled manpower through the FMN Academy framework.
  • Implement the evolving learning strategy to ensure a capable and motivated workforce and sustain a learning culture.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement FMN Academy framework and training curriculum aimed at strengthening FMN organizational Capability.
  • Design and implement effective instructional methods – OJT, Coaching, Job Shadowing, Virtual lessons etc. within the FMN Academy
  • Implement capability plans targeted at specialized areas/ functional leadership (FLAM, FLAG, ELDP). Phase interventions leveraging innovative and effective learning methodologies & tools to close medium and long-term gaps.
  • Maintain relationship with internal and external customers to ensure timely delivery of inputs and eliminate barriers to learning.
  • Design Individual development plan into learning interventions working with HRBPs, subject matter experts for different levels of competency proficiencies to close medium- and long-term gap.
  • Design specific training in coordination with FMN Academy Curriculum & Business level competency framework to close medium- and long-term gaps.
  • Track and report KPIs (Training budget, TNA, Skills Audits, Learning Intervention & success Matrix). Generate & circulate corporate business training index reports.
  • Negotiate training costs with consultants for an effective and efficient training administration system.
  • Leverage and support HRBPs to build a learning culture
  • Design, develop and maintain effective learning conditions (environment, learning delivery, logistics to eliminate barriers and ensure effective learning in all business areas

Education:

  • Minimum requirement: University Degree preferably in the Social Sciences.
  • Professional (Memberships & Cerifications): Minimum requirement: CIPM

2). Power Plant Electrician

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Vacancy Type: Internal Candidates Only

Purpose of the Job

  • To carry out routine operation and maintenance and checks of power generating equipment and its auxiliaries as well as the power distribution equipment.

The Job

  • Carryout day to day operation of the generating sets, ensuring efficient and effective running.
  • Monitor the generator parameters while the engine is running to ensure that they are in good operating condition and if otherwise take corrective action.
  • Carryout maintenance of HV, MV and LV panels, equipment and switchgears.
  • Carryout troubleshooting of generator faults and effect electrical repairs and minor installations as at when required.
  • Conduct regular condition monitoring of the engine, observe the sound of the engine, watch out for loose bolts and carry out visual inspection of all necessary engine parts.
  • Keep the transformer house, switch rooms, control rooms, engine room, and surrounding areas of the power plant clean at all times to comply with good environmental practices.
  • Generate and maintain reports of all maintenance activities.
  • Maintain safe work environment and conform to safety rules and regulations.
  • Ensure the safety of self and others in the line of work.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications

  • 5 O’level credits including English & Mathematics in not more than 2 sittings.
  • NABTEB / Trade Test.
  • OND in Electrical Engineering is an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.

The Person Must:

  • Have excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Possess clear and accurate reporting skills.
  • Have proven knowledge of how to work with electrical systems and use various hand tools (e.g., wire strippers and multimeter)
  • Ability to read and interprete electrical circuit diagram (verbal and written).

3). Procurement Manager

Location: Nigeria

The Job

  • Develop in collaboration with respective departments strategies, standard operating procedures, sustainable cost improvement processes and a transparent cost reporting structure.
  • Source and procure approved items at lowest prices without compromising on quality
  • Develop a complete preferred supplier and alternate list based on approved criteria as set by management
  • Provide monthly report and analysis of internal and external spend on purchases
  • Ensure implementation of agreed upon strategies.

Qualifications

  • CPM (certified purchasing Manager) preferred

4). Assistant Procurement Manager

Location: Apapa, Lagos

The Job

  • Ensure adequacy of bid specifications and preparation of sourcing related documents
  • Process ERP transactions and monitor contract executions; termination, renewal or amendment of terms
  • Identify and close bypass to increase procurement involvement on spend
  • Identify and deliver savings on spend under management.
  • Support business partnering of assigned business units and deliver on approved SLA.
  • Track, report key functional metrics in line with departmental objectives.

5). Audit Officer – Business Assurance

Location: Nigeria

Purpose of the Job

  • To monitor internal control processes established by the management, and to appraise independently the accounting, financial and other controls within the organisation.

The Job

  • Performs the preliminary review, including the internal control evaluation and assists the Audit Manager in designing audit programs related to systems review and governance, in line with the Annual Audit Plan.
  • Completes portion of audit program under guidance, evaluates and tests business processes and control, identifies areas of risk and internal control improvement opportunities and ensures timely completion of, and reporting on individual audit engagements in line with Institute of Internal Auditors’ (IIA’s) Standards.
  • Prepares and organises audit work papers that adequately support audit conclusions and recommendations in line with International standards for the professional practice of internal auditing.
  • Works under supervision to conduct assurance and consulting audits and develop recommendations in accordance with the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF).
  • Work alongside internal auditors to learn professional practices on audits, gain exposure to various types of projects, learn about operations in various functional areas, build a knowledge base of organizational operations, perform general research, and provide support.

  • First Degree / HND in Accounting or related field
  • Professional Certification – ACA, ACCA or CIA will be an added advantage.
