Job Title: French Teacher

- We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French Teacher to join our educational team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging French language instruction, fostering a positive learning environment, and promoting cultural understanding among students.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching and Learning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that adhere to curriculum standards, focusing on French grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, and culture.
- Deliver engaging lessons that cater to students’ diverse learning needs and proficiency levels.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to enhance language acquisition and student engagement.
Assessment and Reporting:
- Design and administer assessments, including written and oral tests, to evaluate student progress.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their language development.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate progress to parents and school leadership as required.
Classroom Management:
- Establish and maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and respect.
- Implement effective behavior management strategies to ensure a productive learning atmosphere.
Professional Development and Collaboration:
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with language teaching methodologies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate curriculum delivery and school activities.
- Attend school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other events as necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in French, Education with a concentration in French, or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching French at the secondary level, with a strong understanding of the language and culture.
- Fluency in French, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
