1). Field Execution Team Deputy Supervisor

Job Description
- SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is currently looking for a Field Execution Team Deputy Supervisor to join its work force in Nigeria.
Responsibilities
- Must stand in for FET supervisor when required.
- Manage nightshift work scopes when required.
- Responsible for all Field Execution Team activities and monitoring work activities to ensure that craft personnel adhere to client safety standards.
- Ensures that all required documentation associated with the Work Management System and Permit to Work System is available for tasks execution and/or review by client or other parties as needed.
- Supervises and/or coordinates with other contractors to achieve safe and efficient execution of tasks.
- Coordinates personnel, materials, tools, consumables, and equipment to meet project schedules.
- Monitors repair or construction fabrication activities to ensure high work efficiency, quality, and workmanship meet project standards and client specifications.
- Schedules work activities and manpower requirements to meet required completion dates for tasks assigned to Field Execution Team.
- Manages the day-to-day activities of field crew, including standard client-required administrative tasks, for all site activities under his area of responsibility.
- Prepares lifting plans on time for simple or complex lifting activities related to the site activities. Submits plans to client timely for approval to ensure safe and efficient operation of tasks.
- Delegates functional responsibilities to field execution staff, that are appropriate, for supervision and control of construction activities and further oversees their performance.
- Attends meetings with client, contractor, sub-contractors, and vendors to review work site progress (on frequency defined by the client) and addresses any support needed.
- Works with other supervisors, client engineering staff, and asset leadership to review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and survey of site locations for constructability considerations.
- Works with the Shutdown team to prepare work packs, materials, and documentation for all jobs related to Field Execution Team during planned shutdown.
Requirements
The holder of this post must have the following qualifications:
- Must have worked in a similar role before in an offshore environment.
- Must have experience managing multi skilled teams.
- Must have a strong safety work culture and be a proactive safety leader.
- Must be able to manage several work fronts at the same time.
Minimum level of experience required
- 10 years or more
