Job Summary
- We are looking for a dedicated and professional Front Desk Officer to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our organization, providing exceptional customer service to all visitors and clients.
- This role requires a high level of professionalism, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- The Front Desk Officer will be responsible for managing the front desk area, answering and directing phone calls, handling inquiries, and performing various administrative tasks.
- The successful candidate will have a friendly and approachable demeanor, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate departments.
- Handle inquiries and provide accurate information to clients and visitors.
- Manage the front desk area, ensuring it is clean and organized.
- Maintain security by following procedures and monitoring logbooks.
- Issue visitor badges and manage visitor sign-in and sign-out processes.
- Schedule and manage appointments and meetings.
- Assist with various administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and mail distribution.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist in organizing company events and meetings.
- Prepare and distribute internal communications.
- Monitor and respond to emails in a timely manner.
- Manage and update the company’s contact database.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- First Degree from a tertiary institution.
- Proven experience as a Front Desk Officer or in a similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with office equipment such as printers and fax machines.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work in shifts if required.
- Knowledge of office management and basic bookkeeping.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.

- Experience with scheduling and managing appointments.

Salary
N150,000 – N180,000 per month.
