Job Title: Front Desk Hostess

Location: Lagos Mainland, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

Guest Reception and Assistance:

  • Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival.
  • Provide information about services, amenities, and events.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other inquiries professionally.

Reservation and Check-In Management:

  • Manage bookings, reservations, and cancellations.
  • Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy in guest details.
  • Maintain records of guest information and preferences.

Customer Service:

  • Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure guests feel valued and supported during their visit.
  • Provide recommendations for services, dining, or activities as needed.

Administrative Support:

  • Manage the front desk area, keeping it tidy and organized.
  • Handle payments, invoices, and other financial transactions when required.
  • Coordinate with other departments (e.g., housekeeping, kitchen) to fulfill guest needs.

General Operations:

  • Monitor guest arrivals and departures to manage the flow of operations.
  • Uphold safety and security protocols at the front desk.
  • Stay informed about the business’s latest offers, promotions, and events.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Candidates should possess SSCE / OND / HND / B.Sc Degrees
  • 3 – 7 years previous experience as a hostess, receptionist, or in a similar customer-facing role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using computers, reservation systems, and office software.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

Preferred Experience:

  • Hospitality or customer service background.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems or front desk management tools.

Salary

  • N80,000 – N200,000 Monthly.
