Job Title: Front Desk Hostess
Location: Lagos Mainland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
Guest Reception and Assistance:
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival.
- Provide information about services, amenities, and events.
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other inquiries professionally.
Reservation and Check-In Management:
- Manage bookings, reservations, and cancellations.
- Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy in guest details.
- Maintain records of guest information and preferences.
Customer Service:
- Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Ensure guests feel valued and supported during their visit.
- Provide recommendations for services, dining, or activities as needed.
Administrative Support:
- Manage the front desk area, keeping it tidy and organized.
- Handle payments, invoices, and other financial transactions when required.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., housekeeping, kitchen) to fulfill guest needs.
General Operations:
- Monitor guest arrivals and departures to manage the flow of operations.
- Uphold safety and security protocols at the front desk.
- Stay informed about the business’s latest offers, promotions, and events.
Qualifications and Skills
- Candidates should possess SSCE / OND / HND / B.Sc Degrees
- 3 – 7 years previous experience as a hostess, receptionist, or in a similar customer-facing role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using computers, reservation systems, and office software.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
Preferred Experience:
- Hospitality or customer service background.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems or front desk management tools.
Salary
- N80,000 – N200,000 Monthly.
