Job Summary:

  • We are seeking an efficient, welcoming, and personable Front Desk Representative who will serve as the initial point of contact and a crucial resource for both colleagues and visitors. This role involves providing comprehensive administrative support, organizing daily reception operations, and fostering a positive atmosphere. As a Front Desk Representative, you will greet guests and coworkers professionally, handle administrative tasks, and ensure workplace security. Your friendly demeanor is essential for success in this role.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Welcome clients and visitors with a positive and helpful attitude.
  • Assist visitors in navigating the office premises.
  • Maintain workplace security by issuing, verifying, and collecting badges as needed and keeping visitor logs.
  • Support various administrative tasks.
  • Prepare meeting and training rooms for use.
  • Answer phone calls professionally and route them appropriately.
  • Aid colleagues with administrative duties.
  • Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.
  • Deliver excellent customer service.
  • Schedule appointments.
  • Receive and announce visitors as requested.
  • Ensure that all office visitors are properly announced.
  • Fulfill any other responsibilities assigned by the People & Culture department.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant.
  • Consistently maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Effective time management abilities.
  • Familiarity with administrative and clerical procedures.
  • Willingness to contribute positively as part of a team, assisting with various tasks as needed.
  • A minimum of 1-year administrative experience.
  • Applicants must reside within the island environs.
  • Our office is located at Victoria Island; only candidates residing in proximity to the Island environs will be considered.
