Job Title: Front-End Software Developer

Role Overview
- We are looking for a skilled and versatile Front-End Software Developer with a strong foundation in front-end frameworks and experience in creating seamless, user-friendly interfaces.
- This role requires expertise in Next.js, Java, and React, as well as familiarity with multiple programming languages and technologies.
- While the primary focus will be on front-end development, some back-end ability is a plus.
- You will work closely with our cross-functional team to enhance Jobnest.io’s platform, bringing new features to life and ensuring an optimal user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Jobnest.io front end, focusing on responsive and high-performance design using Next.js, Java, and React.
- Collaborate with the back-end and product teams to integrate APIs and ensure smooth functionality across the platform.
- Translate UI/UX wireframes into quality code, creating dynamic and interactive user experiences.
- Work closely with the product, design, and marketing teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet both functional and aesthetic expectations.
- Optimize application performance, focusing on improving load times, responsiveness, and usability.
- Debug and resolve technical issues, ensuring the platform remains stable, reliable, and scalable.
- Utilize any back-end abilities to assist with server-side integration and support when needed.
- Continuously stay updated on emerging technologies and frameworks, providing insights into potential improvements and innovations for the platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of proven experience as a front-end developer, working with Next.js, Java, or React in production environments.
- Proficiency in front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Some back-end development skills are a plus (e.g., Node.js, Express, or familiarity with server-side logic).
- Strong experience with responsive design, front-end optimization, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, for efficient and collaborative development.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
- A portfolio of past projects demonstrating expertise in front-end development and a solid grasp of UI/UX principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of TypeScript and modern front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
- Experience with testing libraries like Jest, Cypress, or similar.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and remote collaboration tools.
- Experience in the recruitment or SaaS industry is a plus.
