Job Summary:

• We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Associate to join our team as a Student Loans Processing Specialist. In this entry-level role, you will play a crucial part in facilitating the processing of student loans, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely disbursements. This position offers an excellent opportunity for career growth and development in the field of financial services.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Review and verify student loan applications, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
• Verify student eligibility for loan programs based on established criteria.
• Prepare loan documents and contracts, adhering to federal and state regulations.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of financial aid policies and compliance requirements.
• Ensure the proper retention and safeguarding of confidential student financial information.
• Aid students with inquiries related to loan disbursements.
• Generate and maintain accurate records of loan transactions and disbursements.
• Assist in audits and compliance reviews as needed.

Qualifications & Skill Sets:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software is a plus.
