Job Title: Graduate Quantity Surveyor

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Summary

• The Quantity Surveyors will be responsible for managing construction costs and contractual obligations of the Construction team comprising of development owners, contractors, sub-contractors, Tradesmen, specialist installers, suppliers and the design team throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibiliites

• Cost Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimates, Bills of Quantities, and cash flow forecasts.
• Contract Administration: Prepare Construction Contract Documentations, including Review, negotiate, and administer contracts on behalf of development owners over the contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare Tender Reports, Interim Valuations, Valuations of Variations, Financial Statements: Assess Contractor’s claims, and Final Accounts.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential cost risks and issues that could impact project budgets.
• Tendering and Procurement: Assist in the preparation of tender documents and procurement processes.
• Measurement and Valuation: Conduct site measurements and prepare valuations for payment purposes.
• Dispute Resolution: Assist in resolving contractual disputes and claims.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met
• Oversee projects in different parts of the Country

Skills and Competencies:

• An excellent First Degree in Quantity Surveying with a very strong Secondary School Leaving Certificate.
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with quantity surveying software such as Excel, MS Project, and specialized cost management tools.

Salary

• N200,000 – N250,000 monthly.
