1). Finance & Accounting Graduate Intern

Location: Idu, Abuja (FCT)

Employment Type: Full-time

Preferred Start Date: As soon as possible

Role Summary

  • We are looking for a detail-oriented entry-level graduate who is fascinated with numbers and excited for an opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environment. Your responsibilities will range across most finance functions.
  • The position is a one-year paid internship and candidates with excellent performance will be retained and offered a full-time position. The company will also sponsor professional exams if the candidate is looking to obtain a professional finance qualification.
  • The ideal candidate should have an exceptional academic background in the areas of finance and accounting, and have an ambition to build an equally exceptional career as a finance professional.

Role Requirements

  • Recent Undergraduate Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • 0 – 2 years work experience.
  • Minimum of a second-class honours, upper division (2:1) undergraduate degree qualification
  • Interest in pursuing ICAN / ACCA is a plus

Skills and Attributes:

  • Organised individual with ability to draft documents, maintain records and archive documentation
  • Excellent numeracy, oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail – ability to accurately document and verify data
  • Ability to collect, evaluate and interpret data, in both statistical and narrative form
  • General knowledge of various productivity and finance software applications
  • Analytic mind with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a diverse, team-based environment
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and financial modelling skills
  • Ability to prioritise, multitask and meet tight deadlines

Salary
N940,000 – N1,200,000 annually.

2). People & Culture Intern (Human Resource)

Location: Idu, Industrial Layout, Abuja Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Fixed Term (one year) Renewable
Preferred Start Date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities
Recruitment Support:

  • Assist in coordinating the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires, including paperwork and orientation.

Employee Engagement:

  • Collaborate with the People and Culture team to organize and execute employee engagement initiatives.
  • Contribute ideas for teambuilding activities and events.

HR Administration:

  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Assist in the administration of HR programs, such as benefits and performance evaluations.

Training and Development:

  • Support the coordination of training programs to enhance employee skills and professional development.
  • Keep track of training attendance and follow up on post training feedback.

Culture Enhancement:

  • Contribute to initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive company culture.
  • Assist in conducting employee surveys to gather feedback for continuous improvement.

Employee Relations:

  • Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, ensuring a fair and respectful work environment.
  • Work towards conflict resolution and employee satisfaction.

Performance Management:

  • Collaborate with managers to set performance goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback

General Administration and Office Management:

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations, including but not limited to leave tracking, employee onboarding, and offboarding processes.
  • Contribute to the cleanliness and positive atmosphere of our offices.

Asset Management and Facility Oversight:

  • Manage and maintain records of company assets.
  • Oversee facilities to ensure a safe and conducive working environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems.
