Job Summary

  • The Head, International Desk at AYGF is to coordinate AYGF foreign operations in different countries and ensure global partnerships, cross-border programs, and international stakeholder engagement, ensuring compliance with global policies while driving strategic international initiatives for sustainable development and youth empowerment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage relationships with international donors, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Develop strategies for expanding AYGF’s international presence and influence.
  • Strengthen collaborations with global agencies, governments, and institutions.
  • Lead the development and implementation of international projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure AYGF’s policies align with international best practices and standards.
  • Monitor global trends in development, migration, and humanitarian efforts to inform AYGF’s strategies.
  • Identify funding opportunities from international agencies, governments, and private donors.
  • Oversee grant applications, proposals, and donor engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with international grant requirements and reporting standards.
  • Lead advocacy campaigns on international issues relevant to AYGF’s mission.
  • Coordinate media relations and communication strategies for international visibility.
  • Lead and supervise the international desk team.

Qualifications & Experience

  • B.Sc or MSc. International Relations, Development Studies, Public Policy, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in international development, NGO management, or global partnerships with a strong record of accomplishment in stakeholder engagement, fundraising, and policy advocacy.
  • Must possess excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
