Job Summary
- The Hospital Accountant is responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- They play a key role in maintaining the financial health of the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and hospital policies.
- Collaborate with hospital departments to improve financial performance.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
- 2 – 5 years relevant experience in healthcare accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
