Job Description

• We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer to join our team.
• The HSE Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of safety, and implementing effective HSE policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal HSE regulations.
• Conduct HSE training and awareness programs for employees.
• Maintain accurate records of HSE activities, incidents, and training.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement safety improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HSE role.
• In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are preferred.
