Job Title: Human Resources/Administrative Assistant

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant/Administrative to support our HR team.
  • This role will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes and administrative tasks.
  • The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the HR team, focusing on recruitment, employee data management, benefits administration, and other HR-related tasks.
  • This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate assessments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both physical and digital.
  • Provide support for benefits administration, including employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Assist with employee queries, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare and distribute HR-related documents, such as offer letters, contracts, and policy updates.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant labor laws.
  • Perform general administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and report preparation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure HR initiatives are effectively communicated and implemented.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5 – 8 years proven experience in an HR or administrative role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices and labor laws.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in HRis an advantage.
  • Experience with HRIS systems.
  • Familiarity with recruitment tools and applicant tracking systems.
