Job Summary

  • An experienced IM Consultant based in Lagos who will work with other Subject Matter Experts in the Engineering Applications and Workflow Delivery Team providing consultancy to the SharePoint users community and the organization.

Job Description

  • A SharePoint Information Management Consultant is required to contribute to the development, deployment, and support of business solutions on the SharePoint platform in line with the agreed scope and schedule targets.

The IM Consultant will execute the following activities:

  • Identify, analyse, and manage requirements for solution/application development.
  • Work in close collaboration with customers to understand and interpret business needs to implement new solutions.
  • Design, build and implement SharePoint solutions/applications including writing custom functions and complex workflows, to meet stakeholders’ requirements.
  • Advise and support Site Owners in best way to utilize SharePoint and resolve their issues.
  • Conduct SharePoint related trainings for stakeholders.
  • Perform periodic compliance activities related to SharePoint sites.
  • Perform responsibilities assigned during SharePoint projects or platform change activities such as acceptance tests, change management and communication, solution roll out, migration, hyper-care, etc.

Experience and Qualifications Required

  • Minimum qualification of a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Computer Science, or any of the Applied Sciences
  • At least 5 years of SharePoint / 0365 application development experience
  • 8 years or more of IT experience
  • Good working knowledge of SharePoint
  • Knowledge and experience in Information Management and data analysis
  • Previous work experience in the Oil & Gas industry and especially within any of the Shell Companies will be an added advantage.

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of SharePoint Framework, Office 365, and associated development tools
  • Practical knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Data Tables and Power BI
  • Practical knowledge of SharePoint Development tools (SharePoint Designer 2013 and InfoPath 2013), SharePoint APIs (e.g., SharePoint CSOM, JSOM, REST/OData Endpoints APIs) and JSON.
  • Knowledge of O365 Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate and Power Apps)
