Core Responsibilities
Technical Support:
- Provide first-line technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues promptly.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
User Assistance:
- Assist end-users with technical inquiries, offering guidance on software usage, password resets, and general IT-related queries.
System Maintenance:
- Perform routine system maintenance tasks, including software updates, patches, and system backups.
- Monitor system performance and take proactive measures to ensure optimal functionality.
Network Support:
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of local area networks (LANs) and provide support for network-related issues.
- Collaborate with network administrators to ensure seamless connectivity and troubleshoot network problems.
Documentation:
- Create user guides and manuals to assist employees in utilizing IT resources effectively.
Solar Inverter Tech Support:
- Solar inverter pre-commissioning and configuration.
- Deploy and manage IoT monitoring technology for high capacity solar inverters.
Profile
- Diploma, BSc/BA or OND in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or a relevant field.
- Must be a fresh graduate, National Youth Service corps member or SIWES (Minimum of 6 Months).
- Fundamental knowledge of IT and Solar technology.
- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products.
- Proactive problem solver with the ability to think analytically.
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), hardware components, and basic networking concepts.
- Good problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to provide step-by-step technical help.
- Certifications are an added advantage.
