Job Title: Kitchen Accountant
Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Monitor and record all food transfers from the central kitchen to outlets and canteens, ensuring proper documentation and reconciliation.
- Implement cost-control strategies and highlight any areas of wastage or overuse.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly kitchen financial reports (cost of production, stock movement, kitchen expenses, etc.).
- Track food costs and ensure they align with standard recipe costings.
- Work with the inventory officer to conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with records.
- Verify the accuracy of kitchen stock-in and stock-out transactions.
- Monitor kitchen inventory levels to prevent overstocking or shortages.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure proper documentation and tracking of purchases.
- Liaise with outlet/canteen supervisors to confirm receipt of dispatched items and resolve discrepancies.
- Work with the kitchen team to maintain standard portion control and ensure compliance with recipe cards.
- Ensure compliance with internal control procedures related to kitchen finance and inventory.
- Prepare for and support internal and external audits as required.
- Ensure adherence to company policies in all kitchen financial transactions.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 2 – 4 years experience.
Salary
- N120,000 – N150,000 Monthly.
