1). Programme Coordinator, Migration and Reintegration
Location: Abuja
Job Summary
- The post holder will coordinate the implementation and effective monitoring of the ActionAid Nigeria reintegration and empowerment project in Abuja, Lagos and Edo States.
- S/he will provide programme specific support to the various livelihood and reintegration initiatives of the project and work as an interface between ActionAid Nigeria and key migration stakeholders.
Person Specification
Education / Qualifications:
- First Degree in social sciences or arts/humanities is essential.
- Master’s degree in relevant field is desirable.
- Membership of relevant professional Institute is desirable.
Experience:
- At least 7 years’ post NYSC experience, 3 of which should be in a similar position in the development sector is essential.
- Experience in community mobilization is essential.
- Experience working on migration and livelihood issues is essential.
- Experience working on a conflict project and intervening at community levels is desirable.
- Experience working with youth, women groups and persons with disabilities is desirable
Skill / Abilities:
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong communication & writing skills
- Ability to implement data management systems
- Excellent planning and prioritization skills
- Excellent (proven) interpersonal skills.

3). Finance Advisor, Migration and Reintegration Project
Location: Abuja
Job Summary
- The post holder will ensure maintenance of adequate financial integrity in supporting quality and timely data input for generation of financial reports, review and analyze accounting ledgers for the Migration and Reintegration Project.
- S/he will also contribute to strengthening the internal control and accounting systems of AAN and partner organizations.
Person Specifications
Education / Qualifications:
- First Degree in Finance / Accounting is essential.
- Relevant accounting professional certification is desirable.
Experience:
- At least five (5) years post NYSC experience in related finance position is essential.
- Experience working on a multi-country project is essential.
- Experience in implementing financial control systems is essential.
- Development sector experience as a finance person is desirable.
Skills /Abilities:
- Sound practical knowledge of any accounting software and Spreadsheets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications
- Proven skills in training and developing staff and partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent multi-tasking, negotiation, and communications skills.
