  • Process Optimization: The Operations Manager plays a crucial role in optimizing the cocoa processing operations to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. This includes analysing production processes, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing improvements or automation where necessary.
  • Quality Control: Ensuring that the cocoa processing operations meet the required quality standards is a vital aspect of the Operations Managers role. This involves implementing quality control procedures, monitoring production processes, conducting inspections, and collaborating with quality assurance teams to maintain consistent product quality.
  • Inventory Management: Managing inventory levels, including raw cocoa beans, intermediate products, and finished goods, is an important responsibility.   • Compliance and Safety Awareness: Knowledge of relevant industry regulations, quality standards, and health and safety practices. Familiarity with certifications such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) is advantageous.
