1). Head of Finance and Control (HOD)- Mortgage Bank

Location: Lagos

Job Competency Requirements

  1. Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the organization.
  2. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and organizational policies.
  3. Analyze financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
  4. Manage the preparation of financial statements, audits, and tax filings.
  5. Implement and maintain effective internal controls and risk management processes.

Required Qualifications and Skills 

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CFA are a plus).
  2. 10+ years of experience in financial management, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
  3. Strong knowledge of financial reporting and analysis.
  4. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
  5. Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation:

Net Pay Range: ₦650,000 – ₦750,000

2). HR Manager- Mortgage Bank

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the HR department, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Lead the development and implementation of HR strategies, procedures, and policies.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and training initiatives.
  • Ensure proper documentation, confidentiality, and handling of sensitive employee information.
  • Use HR analytics and reporting tools to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with leadership to foster a positive organizational culture and improve employee engagement.
  • Guide and support HR team members in their roles and responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in HR, Business Admin, or related field (Master’s/HR certification is a plus).
  • 5-7 years HR experience, with 2+ years in a managerial role (preferably in banking).
  • Strong knowledge of labour laws and HR practices.
  • Skilled in HR software, MS Office, and HR analytics.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and people skills.
  • Maintains confidentiality and handles sensitive information well.
  • Ability to develop required policies, processes & procedures and standardize the department.
