Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement strategies for growing and sustaining a vibrant Agent & Merchant network in the Regions
  • Develop the distribution and field force management strategies and tactics for the assigned region
  • Plan and execute training and retraining of Agent/ Merchants/Ambassadors (onboarding, day-to-day operations, etc.) and Branch team (Agent/Merchant recruitment and management)
  • Engage with stakeholders (Retail Line Executives, Group Heads, Business Development Managers & Business Managers, etc) to implement strategic and tactical growth plans for assigned region
  • Analyze market developments and provide strategic and tactical responses to competitor offerings and trends in line with banks strategies to the Unit Head, Distribution & Sales, FIS.
  • Monitor and render periodic reports and recommendations on Agent & Merchant, Ambassadors and Branch performance to the Unit Head, Distribution & Sales, FIS.
  • Implement strategic marketing initiatives in line with set KPIs to drive network growth and visibility in the states they cover.

Education:

3). Fleet Manager

Responsibilities

  • To oversee the general operations of the Centralized Fleet Unit.
  • Supervise the maintenance of status and pool vehicles of the Executives (Chairman, Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Executive Directors, Executive Vice Presidents and First Bank of Nigeria Holding Company).
  • Attend high level meetings with Government agencies on issues as it relates to any development in the area of transportation.
  • Preparation of EXCO/MANCO Paper which is forwarded to the Head, Protocol & Logistics for review.
  • Co-ordinate the forecasting and planning of monthly & annual maintenance of vehicles and fuel consumption costs.
  • Supervise the administration of the Total Fuel Card Bank wide and training of branch staff (BMs, HBSs & HNFs), drivers and dispatch riders on the cards usage.
  • Supervise the analysis of operational report and summarize key findings.
  • Co-ordinate the activities of Fleet Operations, Maintenance and Asset/Fuel Card Officers and, analyze as well as query exception reports and provide feedback to Head, Protocol & Logistics.
  • Co-ordinate the establishment and implementation of maintenance procedures.
  • Oversee vehicle maintenance in Head Office & Lagos Branches and liaise with FBN Insurance through Financial Control Department on resolution of vehicle accidental issues.
  • Supervise the resolution of all issues encountered on Fleet Management System (FMS) Platform by staff while logging fleet requests.
  • Supervise the preparation of Management approval for the Total Fuel Cards recharge monthly.
  • Coordinate the preparation of reports (e.g. Total Fuel Card, weekly, monthly, quarterly and Ad-hoc report etc.)
  • Responsible for the provision and distribution of uniforms for security personnel, lift operators, firemen, drivers and dispatch riders Bank wide.
  • Manage quality and cost effective vehicle servicing agents, automobile mechanics etc.
  • Coordinate and monitor the processing & renewal of vehicles licenses and insurance documents for Fleet and Head Office vehicles as well as documentation history.
  • Manage and ensure the availability of drivers.
  • Manages and monitors the activities of staff on Uber and Bolt services
  • Preparation of the monthly activities, summary and bill settlements for management approvals
  • Supervise the assessment of newly deployed drivers and forward reports to the Head, Protocol & Logistics.
  • Ensure prompt receipt and dispatch of requests for vehicles on the Service Level Agreement (SLA) platform, as well as approving all centralized fleet actions on the platform
  • Evaluate and recommend all vehicle procurement, maintenance & disposal actions to the Head, Protocol and Logistics, who shall direct such to the Group Head, General Services.
  • Advise Management on chargeable rates for Centralized Fleet Services to other Business Units/Departments in the Head Office.
  • Supervise route planning and journey management.
  • Monitors the activities of the receptionist with a monthly backup report
  • Liaise with State Traffic and Security Officials for the resolution of issues as the need arises.
  • Ensure proper accounting and reporting of the financial activities of the fleet management, including direct and indirect Fleet Costs (consumables).
  • Ensure proper Vehicle Tracking Installations and Reporting. Maintain Vehicle Documentation history and Processing of various Vehicle Documents

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Education: B.Sc. in any relevant discipline from a reputable institution.
  • Possession of Higher Degree(s) and/or relevant professional certification (an added advantage)
  • Minimum experience: 6 years of relevant experience is required, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
