1). Sales Executive

Location: Lagos

Job Purpose

  • Manage and expand our portion of the company’s revenue from the client accounts in your portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate new opportunities to increase our Share of Wallet, in order to expand current business relationships and increase the value of customer accounts.
  • Implement Accounts sales plan and planning agreements, in order to ensure annual sales objectives are achieved. Focus on annual/quarterly cost triggers related to customer prices and implement or negotiate where necessary.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of customers’ cyclical demand so as to improve service and recognize opportunities. Use this information to gather forecasts and share with the planner to facilitate the demand plans.
  • Negotiate and implement the annual business budget and planning agreements, in terms of sales turnover, profitability and other KPIs, so as to contribute the agreed profits.
  • Focus on stock levels, ensuring slow moving stock is attended to quickly.
  • Maintain frequent communication and make planned visits to customers so as to evaluate and resolve complaints and therefore continuously reinforce relations and increase satisfaction of customers and decision makers.
  • Review Accounts results on a monthly basis, explain the reasons for any deviations and take corrective actions, in order to be aligned with the agreed budget and planning agreement.
  • Report ongoing (dynamics) analysis regarding market conditions and competitor activities to maintain market awareness to the company management and sales force.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Marketing or other Sales related fields
  • Must have 4-6 years’ experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision or any other Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint Presentation
  • Experience in managing major accounts in a B2B company and within matrix organisations
  • Experience in chemical Industry, logistics/manufacturing sector is preferable
  • Experience with Exports is required
  • Ability to understand and speak French Language will be an added advantage

2). Treasury Supervisor

Location: Lagos

Job purpose

  • Manage daily cash levels for corporate departments and ensure that such levels are appropriate, based on operating needs in the business. Evaluate workflows and internal procedures and recommends improvement initiatives to the Treasury Manager.  Ensure that cash management systems, such as billing and payment mechanisms are adequate, functional and established in accordance with management’s recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Importation system and related policies; depth and breadth knowledge of policies, systems, and procedures pertaining to Nigeria importation system. Ensure the company’s interest is always protected not to violate any government regulation/policy
  • Timely processing and payment of all import related invoices-BFC/LC/CAI as approved by management
  • Reporting of import status, payment and form “M” status
  • Ensure all import payment made are booked same month funds are transferred
  • Banking services – correspondences relating to importation (from purchase to payment date-amendment, discrepancies, cancellation, etc.)
  • Oversee the management of the Company’s defined benefit and contribution plan investments.
  • Coordinate and oversee activities of the plans’ actuaries, investment managers, investment advisors, custodians to ensure optimal management of plan assets
  • Participate in matters relating to pension plan accounting, funding, actuarial valuations, governance, and other corporate issues related to investments

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting or other related fields
  • Minimum of 4-6 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision or any other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Presentation
  • Prior experience with bank and debt capital markets and documentation a plus.
  • Must have full understanding of future implication of any new policy released by the regulator.

3). Finance Supervisor – Tax & Insurance

Location: Lagos

Job purpose

  • The role will support tax, other statutory and regulatory engagements to deliver quality services and ensure cost minimization.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of Withholding Taxes (WHT) in respect to Federal and State Government for the Company.
  • Ensure reconciliation of Withholding Credit with Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) tax pro max portal.
  • Follow up with vendors to ensure Value Added Tax (VAT) paid to them are remitted to Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) promptly in order to claim Input Value Added Tax (VAT).
  • Liaise with auditors to attend to matters relating to tax and other statutory matters.
  • Attend to and resolve all issues relating to Withholding Taxes (WHT) and credit notes.
  • Raise memo to indicate the details of tax remittances for the month and ensure this is duly signed by the authorized signatories.
  • Check the Value Added Tax (VAT) input account for non-Vatable items wrongly posted into the account.
  • Preview the account and check for errors and if any exist, raise necessary journals to reclassify account in respect of non-Vatable items.
  • Liaise with various tax authorities and banks to reconcile issues on tax matters.
  • Assist in the preparation and remittance of company income tax, education tax, taxes on technical fees, management fees, dividend and any other taxes as may be required.
  • Transfer pricing regulations; Collate documents and reports from data base for the purpose of transfer pricing disclosure from returns to Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS).
  • Statutory financial reporting: assist in preparation of schedules and analysis for review for inclusion in the quarterly and annual audited financial reports for the company.
  • Export Expansion Grant (EEG); support in documentation for baseline data for Export Expansion Grant (EGG) for the company.
  • Legal matters: support in follow up on contract and agreement review with the company’s legal counsel.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting or other related fields.
  • Membership of ICAN, ACA is compulsory
  • Minimum of 4-6 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision or any other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Presentation
  • Good team working and technical skills
  • Good Interpersonal, Verbal and written communication skills
